About
I am committed to fostering a safe, structured, and dynamic 21st-century classroom that promotes respect, collaboration, and positivity. I am a passionate and dedicated educator with over 22 years of experience teaching English and Mathematics to learners in Grades 4 to 6 within inclusive school settings. I hold advanced degrees in English, Mathematics, and Special Education and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership, along with specialized training in differentiated instruction. I have completed a practicum in Special Education, working with students with special needs in mainstream classrooms. Currently, I serve as English and Journalism Coordinator, Grade Head, and team leader for six teachers. I have been invited as a resource speaker and demonstration teacher and have received awards for having the cleanest and most functional classroom, being a disciplinarian teacher, and demonstrating leadership, punctuality, and instructional innovation. Beyond the classroom, I provide targeted support in Mathematics and Reading for struggling learners, ensuring that no student is left behind. Additionally, I serve as secretary for both the Teacher’s Club and the Parent-Teacher Association.
