I am passionate about creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment where every student feels supported, valued, and inspired to reach their full potential. My pedagogical approach emphasizes fostering not only academic achievement but also social and emotional growth through personalized instruction, encouragement, and a compassionate, student-centered focus. I believe that cultivating a nurturing and equitable classroom is fundamental to student success, and I am committed to bringing this philosophy to your district.
Currently, I serve as a second-grade teacher in a self-contained classroom at Joseph Marello Institute, Inc., where I have developed a deep understanding of diverse student needs and effective instructional strategies. My leadership roles, including Grade Level Chair and Faculty President at Malate Catholic School and San Juan West Central School, have strengthened my ability to collaborate and lead initiatives that enhance student learning. Additionally, I moderated the "Big Brothers and Sisters" club, launching a peer tutoring program that improved reading skills among struggling learners. I also coach students in the arts and sports, such as table tennis, to promote holistic development.
