About
I am a licensed Secondary School Teacher and Registered Nurse from the Philippines with a strong background in both education and healthcare. I currently serve as a Grade 11 Science Teacher in a public school, where I teach various science disciplines and facilitate engaging, student-centered learning experiences. In addition to my teaching role, I have experience serving as a School Clinic Nurse, providing health services and promoting student well-being.
Before entering the field of education, I worked as a hospital nurse, which helped me develop strong clinical, communication, and problem-solving skills. My combined experience in healthcare and education allows me to bring real-world applications into the classroom and foster a supportive learning environment.
I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Education to further enhance my professional knowledge and teaching practice. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated dedication, adaptability, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to student success. I am passionate about inspiring learners, promoting scientific literacy, and contributing positively to the school community.
I am excited about the opportunity to share my skills, experience, and Filipino culture with students and colleagues while continuing to grow as an educator in an international setting.
