About
I am Julius Odongo Mireri, a SPED teacher with over 11 years of experience teaching diverse learners with abilities. I have a bachelor's degree in SPED and a master's degree in assessment, measurement, and evaluation. I am adept at designing and implementing IEPs and the use of differentiated instruction, and I effectively apply UDL to make my teaching more inclusive. In addition, I am good at making adaptations and accommodations of learning for various categories of learners with disabilities. I have managed various classes with mixed abilities of learners, enhancing their academic outcomes in the course of my career. I have worked as the head of departments, director of studies, and currently, alongside my classes, I still perform my duties as a director of studies in my current station.
