Skills
In the classroom, I focus on building students’ communicative competence in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, while also fostering an appreciation for Francophone cultures.
I design engaging lesson plans that integrate grammar, vocabulary, literature, and real-life communication, using interactive activities, group work, and technology to make learning meaningful and accessible.
My teaching experience has allowed me to work with students of diverse abilities and backgrounds. I adapt my instructional methods to meet individual learning needs, encourage active participation, and create a supportive classroom environment where students feel confident using the French language.
I regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help learners improve and achieve their academic goals.
Beyond classroom instruction, I am committed to continuous professional growth. I reflect on my teaching practices, collaborate with colleagues, and seek innovative approaches to improve student engagement and learning outcomes.
About
I am a dedicated French language teacher with a strong academic background and four years of professional teaching experience at the high school level. My journey into education began with the successful completion of a four-year degree in French and Education, which equipped me with a solid foundation in language proficiency, pedagogy, and student-centered instructional strategies.
Since graduating, I have spent the past four years teaching French to high school students, where I have developed a deep passion for language instruction and cultural exchange. I have handled different students from diverse backgrounds that have further with the French Language to a higher level in their education due to my approach and strategies when delivering my lessons.
For the past three years, I have recorded 100% pass in West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination. This achievement made my school headmaster expand the French classes from one class reading French to four classes. I have trained other potential teachers who come for their internship programs in my school to excel in the usage and teaching of the French language.
Teaching French has strengthened my belief in the power of language education to broaden perspectives, promote cultural understanding, and prepare students for global citizenship.
With a strong academic foundation and four years of hands-on teaching experience, I am confident in my ability to contribute positively to any educational setting. I remain passionate about inspiring students to develop language skills, cultural awareness, and a lifelong interest in learning.
