About
I'm sorry I have not prepared a resume because I thought I am permanently stuck to my teaching career at the Philippine Department of Education. I am recently entertaining the idea of teaching in the United States to experience what it's like to be in another country with a diverse cultural environment unlike in my country. I was officially in the employment of the Department of Education, Region 6, Division of Aklan of the Philippine government since 2003, but prior to that I have already began teaching many years in private and public schools. I am currently the head of the Special Education department of Kalibo Pilot Elementary School which I initially started since 2008 from five hearing impaired students and now with over a hundred special needs children with different cases of disability and five teachers who handles cases of autism, visual impairment, deaf with multiple disability, and so on. Prior to this, I have been a grade 1 and grade 6 teacher and presently aside from teaching deaf student, I am also engaged in regular classes of teaching English in Grade 5.
Aside from teaching, I am the adviser of the schools student government teaching and guiding young kids about leadership. I am also the Learning Resources Coordinator of our school district. In my younger years I am a coach of English Declamation, Story Telling in English and Filipino Folk Dance.
