About
I am an experienced and dedicated elementary school teacher with more than a decade of teaching experience in the Philippine public school system. I have been serving as an Elementary Teacher at Lavigan Elementary School since 2014, handling Kindergarten and Grade 5 learners across multiple subject areas. Throughout my career, I have provided six hours of daily instruction to diverse classes and consistently worked to improve students’ literacy, numeracy, and overall academic performance. My teaching approach is learner-centered, inclusive, and grounded in data-driven instruction to meet the needs of all students.
One of my key achievements is the development and implementation of Project READ-ONNLINE and the Basa-Balay Reading Program, which significantly improved reading fluency and comprehension among struggling K–3 learners. These initiatives not only raised reading proficiency levels but also strengthened family involvement through home-based reading activities. I have also produced contextualized reading materials, led school-wide literacy programs, advised the school publication Ang Parola, and facilitated professional development sessions for fellow teachers through INSETs and Learning Action Cells.
In addition to classroom teaching, I have held multiple leadership roles, including English Coordinator, Reading Coordinator, School Paper Adviser, Student Government Adviser, and Learning Action Cell Focal Person. These roles enhanced my skills in instructional leadership, collaboration, and teacher mentoring. I am a licensed professional teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and ongoing graduate studies in Educational Management. With strong communication skills, technological proficiency, and a deep commitment to student success, I continuously strive to create meaningful, engaging, and supportive learning environments for every learner.
