About

I have been employed for the last 4 years by the Teacher service commission as a history/ religion teacher .I hold a bachelors in education from Kenyatta university , a master’s degree in armed conflict and peace studies from the university of Nairobi plus am currently pursuing my doctorate at the open university .
I also am a multifaceted individual who is well versed in the corporate, research and educational sectors. with 4 years in the insurance sector, 3 years as a research assistant and finally, more than 7 years teaching in multicultural, inclusive schools offering the Kenyan and British curriculum. I use my broad skill set to create a trusting, cooperative and inspirational environment for the conducive development of my students while collaborating with colleagues, supervisors and parents. Am fully conversant with the national curriculums of both Kenya and England with an in-depth knowledge of History, Global perspectives, individuals, religion and societies as subjects. I can easily adjust to new working environments, being a team player is the cornerstone of my character. I am detail oriented and a self-starter, and with everything I put my mind into, I work with precision to get the best results. I do my best to be an asset wherever I am.
