About
As a dedicated educator and School Disaster Risk Reduction Management (SDRRM) Coordinator, I bring together effective classroom instruction, student mentorship, and disaster preparedness leadership to promote both academic excellence and school safety. As a 2nd Grade Classroom Adviser, I taught Reading, Math, English, and Science, with strong emphasis on literacy and numeracy development, technology integration, and the cultivation of critical thinking, confidence, and responsibility. My student-centered approach creates an engaging and supportive learning environment that nurtures both academic achievement and personal growth.
In recognition of my commitment to literacy development, I was honored as an Outstanding Reading Teacher, an award that reflects my dedication to helping young learners become confident, independent readers. I consistently implement effective reading strategies and differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of my students and strengthen their foundational skills.
Previously, I served as a full-time 3rd Grade teacher in a private school, handling core subjects such as Science, Math, and English. I designed interactive and hands-on learning experiences that deepened students’ understanding of scientific concepts while strengthening their critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Beyond classroom teaching, I successfully coached students in various science competitions at both regional and national levels, where their achievements brought pride and recognition to the school.
Beyond teaching, my role as an SDRRM Coordinator allowed me to strengthen school disaster preparedness through contingency planning, risk assessments, emergency response training, and close collaboration with local authorities. By integrating disaster awareness into classroom instruction, I helped create a safer learning environment where students are equipped with essential life skills. Through my combined experience as a classroom teacher, SDRRM leader, and competition mentor, I remain deeply committed to fostering student success and contributing to overall school development.
