Good day!
My name is Jhoanna Marie G. Olita, an elementary educator with 8 years of teaching experience in various grade level. I am currently teaching at Silay South Elementary School in Negros Occidental, Philippines as a 4th grade teacher handling English and Mathematics. I want to express my interest to apply as a teacher in your school.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Elementary Education at Carlos Hilado Memorial State University in Negros Occidental, Philippines last April 30, 2016. I pursued Master of Arts in Education major in Administration and Supervision at STI West Negros University from September 1, 2023 - April 20,2025 with 33 academic units. Education should be inclusive, equitable, and accessible to every learner. I use differentiated practices to meet the individual needs of students and create an environment where all voices are heard.
As an elementary educator, I believe students learn best when they are actively engaged and feel ownership of their learning. Differentiated instruction allows me to tailor content to suit varying abilities while keeping students challenged. My educational philosophy is grounded in the belief that the early years of education are foundational in shaping a child's lifelong love for learning. I am committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where each student is valued, supported, and encouraged to explore their curiosity, develop essential skills, and build a strong foundation for academic success and personal growth. I also believe that young children learn best through play and hands-on experiences. I incorporate activities that allow students to explore, experiment, and interact with their environment. By making learning active and engaging, I help students develop a deep understanding of concepts and skills in a way that feels natural and enjoyable. Recognizing the diverse learning styles and abilities of young learners, I embrace an individualized approach to instruction. I strive to meet students at their unique developmental levels, tailoring lessons to cater to their strengths and providing support where needed. Differentiated instruction allows each child to progress at their own pace, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning experience.
