About
Jessica De Vera is a dedicated and highly experienced elementary educator with 27 years of teaching experience in the Philippines. She has taught students from Preschool through Grade 6 in both traditional and laboratory school settings, demonstrating expertise in delivering high-quality, standards-based instruction across multiple subject areas, including English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Arts.
Throughout her career, she has been committed to fostering student achievement through differentiated instruction, literacy development, effective classroom management, and data-driven teaching practices. She is skilled in creating engaging, inclusive, and student-centered learning environments that support the academic, social, and emotional growth of all learners.
Jessica currently serves as a Grade 6 teacher at Saint Louis University Basic Education School Laboratory Elementary Department in Baguio City, where she collaborates with colleagues to enhance curriculum implementation and student learning outcomes. Her previous teaching experience includes positions at the University of Baguio Laboratory Elementary School, Pines Montessori School, Holy Angels Montessori School, and Naguilian Learning Center, Inc.
In addition to her Bachelor of Elementary Education degree, she has completed 30 graduate credit hours in Educational Management. Her credentials have been evaluated by SpanTran and determined to be equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education plus 30 semester credit hours of graduate study in Educational Administration. She holds a valid Professional Teaching License and remains committed to continuous professional growth through ongoing training and professional development.
