About

I am a classroom English teacher with 16 years of relevant classroom teaching experience. I am currently teaching at Uling National High School in Cebu, Philippines as an 8th and 10th grade English teacher. I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English at the University of San Jose-Recoletos in Cebu City, Philippines last March 15, 2008. I pursued Master of Arts in Education major in English Teaching at Cebu Technological University in Cebu City, Philippines from May 2019 up to the present with 36 Complete Academic Requirements (CAR). My degree as well as my extensive teaching experience as an English teacher enables me deliver high-quality instruction, helping my students enhance their reading and comprehension skills effectively. I believe English Language Arts should foster exploration and expression, encouraging students to analyze texts, write creatively, and engage in meaningful discussions. Through interactive and immersive learning, students develop critical thinking, communication, and analytical skills. My teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive, inclusive environment where students take an active role in their learning, and I serve as a guide and mentor to inspire their growth.
