About
I am a passionate and dedicated teacher with 19 years and 9 months of teaching experience. I got hired in the Department of Education last July 4, 2006 and was assigned to a remote area for seven (7) years wherein it gave me such a humble beginning of my teaching career. There, I was assigned to a various task that helped me honed my skills in leadership and my flexibility in dealing with different circumstances. In January 2013, I had an opportunity to transfer to a central school near my home. New environment and new challenges were met but my learnings in the early years of teaching helped me surpass those challenges.
Throughout my career, I have developed a teaching style that is both dynamic and effective. I tailored my lesson plans based on the needs of each student. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are also applied throughout my lessons. In addition, I have experience integrating technology into the classroom and using it as a tool to enhance learning.
One of my greatest strengths as a teacher is my ability to connect with students and build strong relationship with them. I believe that when students feel supported and valued, they are more likely to succeed academically and personally. I am committed to creating a safe and inclusive classroom where all students feel welcome and respected.
