About

I am a certified English teacher for junior and senior high school students. I have a teaching license from my home country, and a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in secondary education, specializing in English. In my 10 years of teaching, I have developed a strong expertise in writing lesson plans and developing instructional materials relevant not only to the students' skills and interests, but also to the competencies prescribed by the school's curriculum.

At present, I am teaching English to junior high school students in Hokkaido, Japan under the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) program. Before this, I taught in the Philippines as a public-school English teacher for 7 years. In both contexts, I have demonstrated a high level of commitment by going above and beyond expectations in carrying out my responsibilities. I thrive in a work environment that fosters cross-cultural collaboration for purpose of delivering high-quality education to students.
