About
Good day!
My name is Jacquelyn Moreno Estrada, a secondary Mathematics teacher with 12 years of teaching experience. I am currently teaching at President Corazon "Cory" C. Aquino National High School as a 7th , 8th, & 9th grade Mathematics teacher. I have submitted an online application in the district website. I want to express my interest to apply as a teacher in your school.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics at Rizal Technological University in Metro Manila, Philippines last April 30, 2013. I pursued Master of Arts in Education major in Educational Management at City University of Pasay in Metro Manila, Philippines and graduated last June 9, 2024. Mathematics is not merely a collection of formulas and procedures; it is a dynamic and integral part of our daily lives. My teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that understanding the intrinsic value of mathematics is crucial for students. I aim to demonstrate the real-world applications of mathematical concepts, fostering an appreciation for the subject's relevance.
I am committed to creating a space where every student feels valued and has equal access to mathematical learning opportunities. Mathematics is not a solitary endeavor; it thrives in an environment of collaboration and communication. I incorporate interactive and collaborative learning strategies to promote peer-to-peer discussion, problem-solving, and the sharing of diverse perspectives. This fosters a sense of community and mutual support among students. In my classroom, diversity is celebrated, and inclusivity is paramount. Recognizing and respecting the unique backgrounds, learning styles, and abilities of each student is fundamental to promoting a positive and equitable educational experience. Rather than emphasizing memorization of formulas and procedures, I prioritize the development of a deep understanding of mathematical principles. I encourage students to explore the "why" behind the "how" and to appreciate the interconnectedness of mathematical concepts. This approach not only facilitates problem-solving but also equips students with a lasting foundation for future learning.
I am a team player. I try my best to contribute my skills and resources for the benefit of my team and the school in general. I am willing to do an interview in your most convenient time. My email address is kaelleoric.04@gmail.com. Please see attached resume for your reference.
Sincerely yours,
Jacquelyn Moreno Estrada
