My name is Jackielou G. Desquitado, an elementary educator with 18 years of teaching experience. I am currently teaching at Cagsalaosao Elementary School in Samar, Philippines as a 5th grade and 6th grade teacher handling Science and English. I want to apply as an elementary teacher in your school.
I graduated with a Bachelor in Elementary Education major in Science at Northwest Samar State University in Samar, Philippines last March 20, 2003. I pursued a Master of Arts in Education Major in Science at Christ the King College in Samar, Philippines from October 5, 2012 up to May 18, 2015 with 42 academic units. I am a passionate and experienced elementary teacher who believes that all students can be successful by providing the highest quality of learning through the use of effective teaching strategies, developmentally appropriate resources, classroom structure, and hands-on learning experience to address the unique and varied needs of students. I want every child to be successful by implementing effective teaching strategies and utilizing technology to adapt to the needs of 21st century learners. Nurturing creativity and critical thinking are essential for preparing students for the challenges of the 21st century. I encourage open-ended tasks, problem-solving activities, and opportunities for self-expression to develop students' ability to think independently and innovatively.
