About
Hello! My name is Ivy Leosala, and I’m a public school teacher from the Philippines.
My teaching journey began in 2013, when I started teaching English in an international school. I later taught English and Mathematics in a private Christian school before joining the Department of Education in 2022. I currently teach at Tabgon Elementary School, where I work with young learners and support their academic and personal growth.
Over the years, I’ve learned that teaching is more than delivering lessons—it’s about understanding learners, adapting to their needs, and creating a classroom where every child feels valued and capable.
I believe I would be a great candidate for this program because I bring diverse teaching experience, strong communication skills, adaptability, and a genuine passion for learning. I also have a Master’s degree in Reading Education, and I’m committed to continuously improving my practice and learning from other educators.
I’m excited about the opportunity to share my experiences, learn from others, and contribute my own perspective as a Filipino educator.
