I am an experienced secondary mathematics teacher with 17 years of teaching experience. I hold a Bachelor of Education in mathematics
Over the years I have taught mathematics and ICT, served as Head of Department and currently have school leadership responsibilities involving student discipline and academic support. These roles have strengthened my classroom-management, communication, leadership and problem solving skills.
As a teacher, I believe every student can learn when given the right support and learning environment. I focus on clear lesson planning, active student participation, regular assessment, and using students performance data to identify areas of improvement.
I am interested in educational technology and data analysis, including Power BI and I enjoy finding ways to make mathematics more practical and engaging for my students.
