I am a highly motivated and dedicated secondary school educator with over 15 years of professional teaching experience specializing in English Language, English Literature, and History. Throughout my career with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) in Kenya, I have consistently demonstrated a passion for improving student achievement through engaging, student-centered instruction, effective classroom management, and inclusive teaching practices.
In addition to my classroom experience, I have served as a Teacher in Charge (TIC), providing instructional leadership, coordinating curriculum implementation, supervising staff, supporting student discipline and welfare, managing school operations, and fostering productive partnerships with parents and the wider school community. This leadership role has strengthened my organizational, communication, mentoring, and decision-making skills.
I hold a Bachelor of Education (Arts) from Kenyatta University and am completing a Master of Education in Planning. My professional experience has equipped me with expertise in curriculum planning, learner assessment, educational technology, differentiated instruction, data-informed teaching, and collaborative school improvement initiatives.
