About
My name is George Oyuga Alila, a dedicated Special Needs Education (SPED) teacher from Kenya. I graduated from Mount Kenya University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Education in Special Needs Education. I am passionate about supporting learners with diverse educational needs and helping them achieve their full potential through inclusive and learner-centered teaching methods.
Throughout my teaching career, I have gained experience working with learners with special educational needs in different learning environments. My responsibilities have included lesson planning, teaching, monitoring learner progress, organizing co-curricular activities, and collaborating with parents and fellow teachers to improve learner outcomes. I have also participated in school programs and activities aimed at promoting inclusive education and learner development.
My achievements include successfully helping learners improve academically, socially, and emotionally, maintaining positive classroom environments, and contributing to school activities and educational programs. I am committed to continuous professional growth and dedicated to making a positive impact in the field of special needs education.
