I am Gelyn A. Danghil, 44 years old, married, a licensed teacher and a resident of Purok El Alegre, Langgam, Maco, Davao de Oro, Philippines. I have been working as a Grade 1 Teacher for two years, Grade 5 Teacher for 2 years, and 15 years up to present as a Grade 6 Teacher at Anislagan Elementary School, Maco South District, Division of Davao de Oro, Philippines. Teaching Mathematics, English, Science, Social Studies, Technology and Livelihood Education Subject, Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health. I am a graduate of Bachelor of Elementary Education program from Bohol Institute of Technology-Jagna, Bohol. I have completed my Master’s Degree in Master of Education Major in Educational Management, University of South Eastern Philippines, Apokon, Tagum City, Philippines, and my Doctorate Degree in Doctor of Education Major in Educational Management, University of Mindanao, Matina, Davao City, Philippines. During this time, I have developed a dynamic teaching approach that combines innovative methods with a commitment to meeting diverse student needs. My classroom is a space where critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity thrive. Notable achievements include improving student performance by 95%," introducing a successful classroom initiative, and organizing cross-cultural projects.
Beyond academics, I am passionate about creating opportunities for students to connect with global perspectives. As part of the J-1 Program, I look forward to sharing the rich cultural heritage while learning from the unique traditions and practices of your school and community.
