In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I have served in various capacities, including School Student Government Adviser, Grade 8 Adviser, School Paper Adviser, Sports Club Coordinator, MAPEH Coordinator, Filipino Broadcasting Coach, and Volleyball Coach. These roles have strengthened my ability to work with diverse learners, manage classrooms, collaborate with colleagues, organize programs, mentor students, and support learners beyond the traditional classroom setting. They have also taught me the importance of flexibility, teamwork, patience, and effective communication in creating a positive school environment.

I am writing to express my strong interest in applying for a J-1 Teacher position in a U.S. public school. As an experienced educator from the Philippines with a passion for teaching, professional growth, and cultural exchange, I am eager to bring my knowledge, skills, and experiences to the American educational setting while also learning from and contributing to the school community.
I am currently a teacher at Katipunan Integrated School in the Philippines, where I have gained extensive experience in classroom instruction, student development, school activities, and educational leadership. In my teaching practice, I handle a range of subject areas, including History, Filipino Grammar and Literature, Music and Arts, and Physical Education and Health. Teaching across these disciplines has allowed me to develop a versatile approach to instruction and to engage students through different learning styles, interests, and abilities. It has also strengthened my ability to integrate academic knowledge with creativity, physical activity, cultural appreciation, critical thinking, and real-life applications.
