About

I am a dedicated and passionate Mathematics teacher with several years of teaching experience in Ghana. I hold a Bachelor of Education in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in Mathematics from the University of Cape Coast and am committed to creating engaging, student-centered learning environments where every learner can succeed.

Over the course of my career, I have taught Mathematics across both the Cambridge and national curricula, preparing students for academic success while fostering confidence and critical thinking. I have extensive experience teaching Cambridge Mathematics for Years 4–6 and preparing learners for the Cambridge Checkpoint examinations.

My professional experience includes serving as Head of the Mathematics Department at Elect School, where I led curriculum planning, mentored teachers, and worked to improve instructional quality and student outcomes. I also taught Mathematics at BBM School, where I was an active member of the Examinations Department, contributing to assessment planning, moderation, and the maintenance of high academic standards.

Some of my key achievements include:

1)Successfully preparing students to achieve an average score of 90% in the Cambridge Checkpoint Mathematics examinations.
2)Guiding students to win Gold Awards in the American Mathematics Olympiad, demonstrating excellence in mathematical problem-solving and competition.
3)Leading the Mathematics Department and supporting the implementation of effective teaching strategies that enhanced student performance.
4)Preparing students for both classroom and external assessments through differentiated instruction and data-driven teaching practices.

I believe in creating engaging learning experiences by integrating technology, real-world applications, and inquiry-based teaching strategies into my lessons. I am committed to fostering a positive classroom environment where students develop strong mathematical skills, confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love for learning.
