About
My name is Enock Onchwari Orucha. I am a qualified Mathematics and Chemistry teacher by training, but I am also a computer expert by practice and passion. I hold a Bachelor of Education in Science (Second Class Upper) from Rongo University.
While my official teaching experience includes Mathematics and Chemistry at St Monica Marani Girls High School and Ndonyo Senior School, I have consistently used and taught computing concepts both inside and outside the classroom. I am proficient in Python programming, understand binary systems, algorithms, logic gates, and flowcharts, and can confidently teach the core topics of the Computer Studies curriculum.
What makes me different is that I do not just teach computers as isolated skills. Because of my mathematics background, I teach computational thinking naturally. I help students see how variables in algebra become variables in code, how logic in chemistry becomes logic in programming, and how problem-solving in maths becomes algorithm design in computer studies.
I am not a computer studies teacher looking for a job. I am a qualified teacher with proven classroom management, lesson planning, and assessment skills —who also happens to be a computer expert. I am ready to step into a Computer Studies classroom from day one and deliver results.
