About
In my experience teaching large, diverse senior high school classes, I’ve learned that the key to reaching every student lies in flexibility and relatability. I don't believe in a "one-size-fits-all" approach; instead, I design my lessons using real-world problems and visual models so that every learner—whether they are struggling with the basics or ready for a challenge—finds a clear way into the material. My time as an intervention teacher for Grade 12 WAEC prep taught me how to spot those falling behind early on. I make it a priority to offer extra support and customized tasks in a way that feels like a helping hand rather than a spotlight on their struggles.
Beyond the numbers, I strive to build a classroom culture rooted in collaboration and mutual respect. I’ve seen firsthand how much confidence a student gains when they explain a concept to a peer, so I lean heavily into group work and interactive learning. I also love bringing technology into the mix—using digital tools to help students move at their own pace. Above all, I am committed to creating a safe, inclusive space where every student feels seen and protected. For me, teaching Math isn't just about passing exams; it’s about giving students the tools and the confidence to believe they can actually succeed.
