About
My name is Yeboah Emmanuel, a professional teacher. Science and Mathematics background from Foso College of Education and specialization in Mathematics from University of Education, winneba.
I have been in the teaching field for the past sixteen years which has helped me in wilding my experiences in leadership, communication, class management, peer teaching, team work.
I have emerged as the best Mathematics teacher in Assin South in May, 2022. For the past 16 years of teaching mathematics, the least percentage of passes I have had is 72%.
I have come to believed that learners to not hate Mathematics but what they hate is being feel confused.
The understanding of Mathematics by learner's largely depends on the facilitator who facilitate the learning.
For this, I make it practical. For instance, when teaching area of plane figures like rectangle, I give out rubber bands and geoboard to learners. I will then ask the to form rectangle with the rubber bands.
They then count the number of squares in the rectangle formed to find the area.
Because they did themselves, they will understand it better.
