About

My name is Eloisa Joy F. Ramento, and I am writing to express my keen interest in the English Language Teaching position at your school. As an English teacher with eight years of experience, I have a strong track record of fostering students' reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. I am currently teaching 8th and 9th grade English Language Arts at Quezon National High School in Quezon, Philippines.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education, major in English, from Sacred Heart College. I graduated on March 20, 2016. I also hold a master’s degree in Teaching, major in English, from Southern Luzon State University. I graduated on August 14, 2024. My aim as an educator is to equip students with the skills to confidently navigate and positively impact the world around them. By exposing them to diverse texts and perspectives, I encourage empathy, cultural awareness, and articulate self-expression, fostering both confident communication and lifelong learning.
I believe that language is a powerful connector. I teach reading and writing not only as tools for academic success but also as avenues for personal expression. Recognizing the diverse learning styles and language proficiencies within the classroom, I am committed to employing individualized learning strategies. This includes offering varied reading materials and assignments and creating opportunities for students to explore personally resonant topics. I am adept at planning, developing, designing, and implementing educational activities that promote holistic learning, ensuring students are actively involved in their educational journey.
I am passionate about ensuring that every student has the opportunity to excel in English Language. I differentiate materials and instructional methods to accommodate diverse learning profiles and cultural backgrounds. I also value collaboration with families and colleagues to promote equity and access for all learners. As a dedicated team player, I am eager to contribute my skills and resources to benefit your school.
