About
My name is Douglas Owusu, and I am a licensed teacher from Ghana, holding a Diploma in Basic Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Education Science. I currently teach General Science at a reputable senior high school, and I also have experience teaching elementary Mathematics and Science. I genuinely enjoy teaching and take pride in creating lessons that are engaging, practical, and easy for students to understand. I am especially passionate about helping learners develop curiosity, confidence, and strong foundational skills in science and mathematics. I believe every student can succeed when given the right support and encouragement. I am excited about the opportunity to teach in the United States through a cultural exchange program, where I can learn from diverse classrooms, share my Ghanaian culture with students, and grow both personally and professionally as an educator.
