About
I am a dedicated and passionate Chemistry and Physics teacher with over five years of experience teaching at the high school level in Kenya. I hold a Bachelor of Education (Science) degree from the University of Eldoret, where I specialized in Chemistry and Physics.
My teaching philosophy is centered on creating an engaging and supportive classroom environment where students develop curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills through hands-on experiments and inquiry-based learning. I take pride in helping learners connect science concepts to real-life applications and fostering a genuine love for discovery.
Over the years, I have successfully guided students to improve their performance in national examinations and participated in various science fairs and mentorship programs. I also enjoy integrating technology and collaborative learning to enhance classroom engagement.
I am eager to join the Teach USA program to share my culture, broaden my professional experience, and learn innovative teaching methods from American schools that I can bring back to benefit my students and colleagues in Kenya.
