About
I am a Kenyan science teacher, with an accumulated high school teaching experience of more than 11 years. I hold a master’s degree in education (science education) from Aga Khan university, institute of educational development.
I am skilled in teaching Biology, chemistry, Stem and general science and am currently serving the teachers’ service commission of Kenya. As a the head of STEM and the patron of Kenya Science and engineering fair in my school, I have seen the school rise to the regional and county champions in science and engineering fair competitions. My previous role as the head of guidance and counselling influenced positive behavioural and attitude changes among the students.
With the teacher professional development skills gained at Aga Khan university, I am certain that I can deliver as a teacher, in any context.
As a practising teacher, I have evolved to embrace 21st century teaching and leadership skills, alongside competencies like technological skills, critical thinking skills and communication skills, which are key recipes in supporting this organization.

Further, my publications have helped shape science instructional pedagogies across the country and beyond.
