About
My name is Confidence Setorglo, a dedicated Science and Physics educator with over fourteen years of teaching experience across basic and senior high school levels within the Ghana Education Service. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Science Education, a Diploma in Basic Education, and I have been awarded Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England. My teaching approach is rooted in practical-based, student-centered, and differentiated instruction, aimed at improving learner outcomes and engagement.
I possess strong professional skills in leadership, communication, organization, and classroom management, alongside proficiency in ICT integration using tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Classroom, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams. My instructional expertise includes lesson planning, laboratory-based teaching, assessment design, and inclusive education practices.
Professionally, I currently serve as a Science and Physics Teacher at Aflao Senior High Technical School and Dzodze-Penyi Senior High School, where I facilitated practical lessons, organized field trips, and mentored students for academic competitions. I began my career as a Classroom Teacher at Afife and Tackscorner E.P. Basic Schools, building a solid foundation in teaching and student development.
My key achievements include earning QTS, engaging in continuous professional development, and conducting action research to enhance science and mathematics instruction. I have also contributed to co-curricular activities, particularly in music and student mentorship, and I am an active member of the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) and the National Teaching Council (NTC).
