About
I am a dedicated Ghanaian educator with over ten years of teaching experience at the primary and junior high school levels, specializing in English language instruction. I hold a Bachelor of Education in Junior High School (English) from the University of Cape Coast, earned with strong academic performance after completing a Diploma in Basic Education while serving full-time in the Ghana Education Service.
Professionally, I have achieved consistent success in managing large and diverse classrooms, teaching up to eight subjects at the primary level, and supporting improved learner engagement and academic performance. I have served in leadership and service roles including Acting Headteacher, academic board member, and Circuit Sports Secretary, contributing to school administration, curriculum implementation, and the organization of inter-school sports activities.
I have also demonstrated innovation through academic research on the effectiveness of computer-assisted instruction in English language learning and continuous participation in professional development activities. I am adaptable, child-focused, and culturally responsive. Through the TeachUSA programme, I aim to contribute my experience to international classrooms while gaining global exposure to strengthen my long-term impact in education.
