About
Dedicated Social Studies educator with over 8 years of experience teaching grades 1–9 in diverse Ghanaian basic schools. I thrive on creating engaging, inclusive classrooms where every student feels valued, empowered, and motivated to grow academically, socially, and culturally. In my current role at Opeikuma St Peter's Anglican Basic School (2022–present), I design and deliver standards-aligned Social Studies lessons for classes of 30–45 students, integrating interactive tools like Google Classroom, Kahoot!, Google Slides, and ClassDojo to boost engagement, comprehension, and participation. By using differentiated instruction tailored to varied learning styles, backgrounds, and needs, I have driven noticeable improvements in student performance and enthusiasm for learning.Previously at Abonko Methodist Basic School (2017–2022), I analyzed student data and needs to create individualized support plans, implemented positive behavior management strategies, and fostered collaborative group work that built equitable, respectful classroom communities. Beyond the classroom, I lead after-school clubs and sports, promoting teamwork, leadership, and holistic development.I hold a B.A. in Social Studies (University of Education, Winneba, 2022), a Diploma in Basic Education (Ada College of Education, 2017), and a valid National Teaching Council License (Grades 1–12, Ghana). Proficient in English and native in Twi, I bring a global perspective, cultural adaptability, and passion for equity to education.I am actively pursuing opportunities to teach in the United States and am committed to credential evaluation (via WES or NACES) and state certification. Excited to contribute my student-centered approach, technology integration, and inclusive practices to a U.S. K–8 school community.
