I'm a holder of bachelor's of Education (Arts & Counselling) - Special Needs Education from Kenya Methodist University, Kenya. I'm a highly accomplished Special Needs Education teacher with 32 years of experience in Inclusive education, Special needs education for elementary learners, demonstrated expertise in learner assessment, IEP development and implementation, monitoring and evaluation, behavior management, teacher collaboration, child protection and safe guarding, committed to advancing equitable education, disability inclusion and institutional excellence through research, mentorship and evidence based practice.
I have mentored 52℅ of learners with mental challenges to aquire life skills and employment, 48℅ of learners with Autism and ADHD to be able to manage their behavior and perform well in class.
I have a teaching experience of 6 years in regular classrooms and 26 years in special school and units.
