About
I am Dr. Onoh Chukwunonso Francis, a Development Economist, Lecturer, and Education Administrator with strong expertise in development economics, financial inclusion, macroeconomic policy, and digital innovation in education. I hold a Ph.D. and MSc (Distinction) in Economics from Enugu State University of Science and Technology and currently serve as a Lecturer at National Open University of Nigeria.
My professional experience includes serving as Director of the Soft Skills and Entrepreneurship Centre and Economics Lecturer at Peaceland College of Education, as well as Education Administrator before joining NOUN. I possess strong research, quantitative, and data analytics skills, with certifications in SPSS, Google Data Analytics, ICT, web development, fundraising, and peacebuilding.
I have published widely in reputable international and SCOPUS-indexed journals on topics such as economic growth, financial development, energy economics, and public policy. I am a member of the American Economic Association, Nigerian Economic Society, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, and the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria. My career focus is on advancing sustainable development, evidence-based policy research, and innovative teaching practices in Nigeria and beyond
