About
Cheryl Trizza Atieno is a History and Social Studies teacher with over ten years of experience across Kenya and Vietnam, currently serving as Head of the Social Studies Department at Ivona High School in Kakamega. She holds a Bachelor of Education Arts from Kabarak University and is pursuing a Master of Philosophy in Education at Masinde Muliro University, alongside TEFL and EFSET C2 certifications.
Her achievements include helping drive a 30 percent improvement in national exam pass rates, designing the “Citizens of Tomorrow” interdisciplinary unit, and coaching a debate team to second place nationally in 2024. She previously taught at Minh Quoc International School in Vietnam and has mentored six early career teachers.
