About

I am a Full-Time Physical Education Teacher position, bringing over 11 years of teaching experience across secondary and primary education. My background combines classroom practice with formal preparation in Music, Arts, Physical Education and Health (MAPEH), a Master of Arts in Education, the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) credential, and International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) Level 1: Basic Umpire certification.
In my current Grade 10 teaching role at Aritao National High School, I have focused on making
physical education more engaging, inclusive and student-led. I introduced gamified activities to
increase sports participation and implemented a peer-led intramural program that resulted in a 50% increase in participation and a 30% improvement in student leadership skills. I also organized an inclusive variety show that increased participation among students with special needs by 75%. These experiences strengthened my ability to create activities that promote movement, confidence, teamwork, leadership and sportsmanship.
My earlier teaching roles developed a solid foundation in classroom management, curriculum-aligned lesson planning, differentiated teaching, parent communication and collaboration with colleagues and grade-level coordinators. I have continued to strengthen my practice through professional development in the revised K-12 MAPEH curriculum, inclusive education, equitable curriculum and assessment practices, test item analysis, classroom observable indicators, 21st century pedagogies, learning resource development, educational technology and video lesson preparation.
Beyond classroom teaching, I bring practical sports involvement through table tennis coaching and my ITTF Level 1: Basic Umpire certification. I was recognized with a Most Promising Teacher Award in 2019, served as a Champion Coach during the Nueva Vizcaya Athletics Association (NVPAA) Meet, and was invited as a guest speaker for the Salinas High School 6th Graduation Rites in 2023. These experiences reflect my ability to contribute to student activities, school events and wider co-curricular programs.
I can contribute to a school by delivering structured and engaging physical education learning, supporting inclusive participation, helping students build healthy habits and positive sporting values, and working constructively with teachers, school leaders, parents and the wider school community. My goal is to combine strong classroom practice with practical sports engagement so that students can participate safely, develop skills and feel included in the learning environment.
