About
I am a licensed Filipino educator applying for the Elementary Teacher position. With a Bachelor of Elementary Education, 3 years of full-time K-12 teaching
experience in a Philippine public school, and additional experience teaching
nursery students in a private Chinese school, I meet and exceed the eligibility
requirements for international teachers in U.S. classrooms. Currently, I teach in a public elementary school under the Department of
Education, where I instruct diverse learners in English, Reading, and other
core subjects. I am skilled in differentiating instruction, managing large classes, and implementing DepEd’s student-centered curriculum. My year teaching
nursery in a Chinese school setting also gave me specialized experience
with English Language Learners (ELLs) and young beginners—using TPR, phonics, songs, and visual aids to build foundational language skills. To deepen my expertise, I hold a National Certificate II in English Language
Vocational Course and have completed 27 graduate units toward a Master of
Arts in Education. These credentials reflect my commitment to professional
growth and evidence-based pedagogy. My teaching philosophy centers on
creating safe, joyful classrooms where every child feels seen, heard, and
capable of success.
