About
I am a dedicated and experienced Science educator from the Philippines with more than 13 years of teaching experience in the public school system. I currently serve as a Teacher VI at Floro T. Bongco Farm School in Escalante City, Negros Occidental, where I teach Junior High School Science, particularly Grade 7,8,9,10 and 12.
I hold a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Biology and a Master’s degree in Education. Throughout my teaching career, I have developed strong skills in classroom management, lesson planning, differentiated instruction, contextualized teaching, assessment, student engagement, and the integration of real-life experiences into Science lessons.
I have also served in various school leadership and coordination roles, including Science Coordinator, School Testing Coordinator, and YES-O Coordinator. I have coached and guided students in environmental activities and competitions, including a team that achieved 3rd place at the Regional Level Recycling Contest.
My teaching philosophy is centered on the belief that every learner can succeed when provided with appropriate support, meaningful learning experiences, and a positive classroom environment. I am adaptable, hardworking, collaborative, and committed to continuous professional growth. I am interested in bringing my teaching experience, Science expertise, and passion for student development to an international educational setting, particularly in the United States.
