About
I am caleb kimutai kipkoech , a qualified and dedicated secondary school teacher with a Bachelor of Education (Arts) in Geography and social studies from Kenya Methodist University. I am currently pursuing a Master of Education in Curriculum Studies at the University of Eldoret, with a strong interest in curriculum implementation, competency-based education, teaching methodologies, assessment, and educational leadership.
I have practical teaching experience in secondary and junior school education. I currently work as a Teacher at Kimalel Junior School, where I also serve as Head of Department (HOD) Humanities and a class facilitator. In these roles, I am involved in lesson planning and delivery, learner assessment, curriculum implementation, classroom management, departmental coordination, learner mentorship, and supporting the effective implementation of competency-based education.
I previously completed my teaching practice at Wareng High School, where I taught Geography and gained practical experience in lesson preparation, classroom instruction, assessment, learner management, and co-curricular responsibilities.
