About
I am an experienced Kenyan educator with over 15 years of teaching experience across primary and secondary school levels. I hold a Bachelor of Education in English Literature and Linguistics and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. My teaching experience includes English, Literature, Geography, Social Sciences and related interdisciplinary subjects, with experience supporting learners across different age groups and academic levels.
In addition to classroom teaching, I have taken on academic leadership, career guidance, class-teaching and student-development responsibilities. I serve as a Model United Nations patron and have supported students in developing research, public speaking, critical thinking, leadership, diplomacy and communication skills. I have also been involved in debate and international academic programmes.
I am passionate about creating inclusive, engaging and student-centred learning environments. I use differentiated instruction, discussion, collaborative learning, technology and real-world connections to help learners become confident and independent thinkers.
I am seeking an international teaching opportunity in the United States where I can contribute my teaching experience and leadership skills while learning from the American education system and participating meaningfully in cultural and professional exchange.
