About
I am a dedicated and experienced Modern Foreign Languages (French) teacher with over five years of experience delivering the English National Curriculum and Cambridge International Curriculum across KS3, KS4, and KS5. I am passionate about creating engaging, student-centred learning experiences through communicative language teaching, effective ICT integration, and strong pastoral care. I strive to inspire learners to achieve their full potential while contributing positively to the wider school community.
Throughout my teaching career, I have taught French, History, and Global Perspectives in several reputable schools in Kenya. My responsibilities have included planning and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing and monitoring student progress, integrating technology into teaching, and supporting students as a Home Room Tutor.
In addition to my classroom responsibilities, I have actively contributed to extracurricular programmes by serving as a patron of the Performing Arts Club and French Club, coaching basketball, and training students for Model United Nations. These experiences have strengthened my leadership, teamwork, and mentoring skills while enabling me to support students' academic, personal, and social development.
I hold a Bachelor of Education (Arts) in French and History from Kenyatta University and am fluent in French, English, and Kiswahili. I am committed to continuous professional growth and to creating inclusive learning environments where every student feels valued, challenged, and supported.
