About
I am a licensed Biology and Science educator with over eight years of experience teaching at both junior and senior high school levels. I hold a BSc in Biology Education with Integrated Science from the University of Education, Winneba and a Diploma in Basic Education from Foso College of Education. I currently teach Biology at Ahantaman Girls’ Senior High School in Ghana.
My instructional approach aligns with U.S. standards-based education, emphasizing student-centered learning, differentiation, data-driven instruction, and inclusive practices. I design rigorous, inquiry-based lessons that promote critical thinking and real-world application of scientific concepts. I regularly use formative and summative assessments to monitor student growth and adjust instruction to improve achievement outcomes.
I am experienced in supporting diverse learners, integrating instructional technology, and fostering culturally responsive classrooms. As a student mentor and competition coach, I have guided learners to regional championship success and second place nationally in a Renewable Energy Challenge.
I am committed to maintaining high academic expectations, positive classroom management, and a safe learning environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional growth of all students.
