About
I am a passionate and dedicated Family and Consumer Science educator with over 30years experience, teaching learners in grade 6-12 with a focus on nutrition, meal planning, Child development, financial literacy, Sewing and Textiles (CTE). I am skilled in classroom management, curriculum planning, guidance and counseling and fostering practical life ready skills among students. I possess strong subject mastery to be able to adjust teaching methods, pace and strategies to meet diverse learners needs. Throughout my teaching career, I have helped students acquire life skills such as responsible decision-making, healthy living, financial awareness and family well-being. I have worked with diverse learners, mentored fellow teachers and adjusted to curriculum changes over time which has strengthened my flexibility and professionalism.
