About
I am a professionally trained educator with a Bachelor of Science in ICT Education, with Mathematics as my minor, and a Diploma in Basic Education, all obtained in Ghana through English-medium instruction. My training at the College of Education prepared me as a generalist teacher with the competence to teach core subjects, including Mathematics, at the basic school level. Additionally, my minor in Mathematics during my BSc ICT Education has strengthened my subject knowledge and equipped me to teach Mathematics effectively at the senior high school level.
Currently, I teach Mathematics and ICT at the Senior High School level, where I support students in developing strong analytical, problem-solving, and logical reasoning skills. I have experience teaching topics such as algebra, basic statistics, number relations, and applied problem-solving, using structured explanations and learner-centered approaches to enhance students’ understanding and academic performance.
My strong background in Information and Communication Technology enables me to integrate ICT tools effectively into Mathematics instruction. I utilize digital presentations, simulations, spreadsheets, and educational software to simplify abstract concepts, promote active participation, and support differentiated learning. This integration also helps improve students’ confidence in both Mathematics and technology use.
I am organized, patient, and committed to academic excellence. I take pride in thorough lesson preparation, supporting learners of diverse abilities, and contributing positively to the academic goals of my school.
