About

I am Ashraf Abubakar, and a mathematics teacher with the Ghana Education Service. I would describe myself as a positive, energetic, and a committed teacher with a flexible style of teaching mathematics that caters for all students and abilities. My strength lies in turning abstract math into everyday examples students can relate with. I use physical objects, peer discussions, and inquiry-based activities to help students build conceptual clarity.
In my current role, I have helped improve students' pass rate at the Basic Education Certificate Examination from 74% in 2023 to 93% in 2024 through data informed instruction and targeted support.
