About
As an educator driven by the conviction that education transforms lives and fuels national development, I bring nearly a decade of experience teaching at all levels of basic schools in Ghana, from crèche to primary school. My journey, starting with Diploma in basic education at university of cape coast and continuing with a B.A. in Early Childhood Education from the University of Education, Winneba, which has equipped me with pedagogical skills and a passion for nurturing young minds.
I've worked with diverse learners, refining my approach to meet evolving needs, and actively championed girl-child advocacy in remote areas like Northern Ghana. Through "The Possible Foundation" and partnerships with Herlordship Foundation, I've supported needy but intelligent pupils, addressing barriers like poverty and gender stereotypes. My research experience, including a phonics-based intervention at Kpalugu Junior High School, has shown me the power of innovative, locally-grounded solutions.
As Women’s Commissioner for ESAG (University of Education Winneba ), I led initiatives empowering young women and built skills in advocacy and collaboration. I’m eager to bring this energy to fostering inclusive classrooms, boosting literacy, and contributing to equitable education. With a commitment to holistic learning and community impact, I aim to inspire students and colleagues alike.
I believe my blend of teaching experience, advocacy, and research readiness makes me a strong fit for this role. I look forward to nurturing curiosity, building confidence, and making a difference in students' lives.
