About

With over six years of experience teaching English to middle and high school students, I have built a student-centered approach that promotes literacy, critical thinking, and academic growth while fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Throughout my career, I have delivered standards-based instruction, differentiated lessons, and targeted literacy interventions to meet the diverse needs of learners. I use assessment data to inform instruction, implement RTI/MTSS strategies for struggling students, and integrate technology to create engaging and meaningful learning experiences. My goal is to ensure that every student feels supported, challenged, and empowered to succeed.
Beyond the classroom, I serve as the English Department Leader and Reading Intervention Coordinator, where I collaborate with fellow educators to strengthen curriculum, improve instructional practices, and support school-wide literacy initiatives. These leadership opportunities have reinforced my belief that student success is achieved through teamwork, continuous learning, and strong partnerships with families and colleagues.
