About
I am Apple R. Ancheta, a dedicated Senior High School Social Science teacher from the Philippines with eight years of teaching experience at Maddela Comprehensive High School. I hold a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Social Science from Philippine Normal University North Luzon Campus and a Master of Arts in Education major in Social Science from Isabela State University.
As a teacher, I handle Social Science subjects for Grade 11 and Grade 12 HUMSS students, helping learners develop critical thinking, communication skills, historical awareness, civic consciousness, and a deeper understanding of society and culture. I use interactive, student-centered, and contextualized teaching strategies to make lessons meaningful and relevant to students' experiences.
Aside from classroom teaching, I have served as the Grade 11 Curriculum Chairman for five years, where I helped coordinate and lead a team of 22 teachers serving more than 400 students. This role strengthened my skills in leadership, curriculum planning, collaboration, problem-solving, and academic program management.
I am passionate about education and believe that teachers play an important role in preparing students to become responsible, critical-thinking, and socially aware individuals. I am also interested in gaining international teaching experience, learning from different educational practices, and sharing my knowledge and experiences as a Filipino educator with students and fellow teachers abroad.
