About
I am an experienced educator, educational writer, and ed-tech professional with 10+ years of experience helping children and teachers learn more effectively. My journey into teaching began unexpectedly with Barney & Friends, where I discovered the power of learning through songs, games, and interaction, an approach that still shapes my work today.
As the eldest grandchild, I naturally taught younger siblings and cousins, and later, the support of a dedicated primary school teacher transformed my confidence and revealed the life-changing impact of compassionate education. Since then, I have taught across primary levels, faith-based learning communities, and teacher-training spaces, always focused on meeting learners where they are and helping them grow.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, a Postgraduate Diploma in Arts and Social Science Education, and a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, and I am currently beginning advanced training in Special Education at the University of Ibadan. Beyond teaching, I am an active educational writer with experience writing children’s books, poems, and education-focused articles, as well as developing curriculum-aligned learning content. Beyond the classroom, I have mentored 200+ educators, designed learning programs for 2,000+ students, and contributed to initiatives that improved academic outcomes by 25%.
